The Game Awards là một giải thưởng thường niên tôn vinh những thành tựu trong ngành công nghiệp trò chơi điện tử. Năm nay, The Game Awards 2022 đã diễn ra vào sáng ngày 9/12/2022. Và tất nhiên giải thưởng danh giá và được quan tâm nhất Game of the Year (trò chơi của năm) năm nay bao gồm 6 cái tên được để cử, là những tựa game bom tấn trong năm qua.

2 cái tên quá vượt trội so với phần còn lại về độ nổi tiếng cũng như đánh giá chuyên môn chính là Eden Ring và God of War Ragnarok. Dẫu vậy, đúng như những dự đoán trước đó, giải thưởng“Trò Chơi Của Năm" (Game Of The Year 2022) đã chính thức thuộc về tựa game Elden Ring. Ngoài ra Elden Ring còn xuất sắc nhận thêm ba giải thưởng khác như: Best Game Direction, Best Art Direction, Best Role Playing.
